Rugosa Recovery

My freshly hacked to a nub rugosa rose is beginning to recover already. It's the 2nd to the last photo here. I didn't think to take a photo of it before the Mr chopped it all out, but it was taller than me and had turned brown and dead almost completely. I knew it'd come back though. :)
