Plum Petals

Plum blossom petals - this time last year, the tree was just starting to bud out. This year, it's already fully bloomed and nearly finished.

Plum tree in full bloom (petals are beginning to fall, it's almost done already), pussy willow beginning to transition from catkins to puffballs, and apple tree just beginning to bud out.

Plum tree. Happy. :) Although... this is from 3/23 last year, when the plum was just beginning to bud but not bloom, and I was stressed about a possible freeze.

I swear to you, it went from complete dormancy to full bloom overnight.

Yard Work

Tools of the trade, cart full o' weeds, clematis and pansies, organic seed starting mix by the crateful, mystery alien plant, irises, pergola and windchimes, iris, blackberries, more irises, greenhouse, strawberry, plums, scottish broom, dianthus, heap of mulch (to do list), what's left of my beautiful rugosa rose, his and hers garden decor, basically a ramble around the yard. ;)

Misc

Mystery alien plant, baby grapes, plum tree contemplating its imminent destruction at the hands of my husband because branches are drooping low enough to scratch the roof of his car, baby plums, clematis (mailbox), the plant I almost pull out as a weed every spring but always eventually spare, groundcover, and gratuitous clematis shot.
