Tomatoes, Peppers, Bergamot

Tomatoes (which I accidentally sunburnt the first day I had them in the greenhouse, oops), hot peppers, and teeeeeeny tiny bergamot seedling.

Denizens

Yeah, need to get more shelves ready. Almost full.

Cucumbers

Leggy :(

Apparently I forgot to document when I planted these - I'm thinking about a week ago? I planted them, watered them, stacked them under a flat of freshly planted cucumbers, and forgot about them til today I noticed the cukes were sprouting already. The stuff underneath had already sprouted a few days ago, and was awfully leggy already. Stuck it out in the greenhouse with no cover, hopefully they'll do OK now that they're getting plenty of light.

Peas

I have pea babies. :)

Residents

The tomatoes get carried in each evening and back out each morning. The rest have been living out there. The stuff with covers on isn't sprouted yet, or isn't tall enough to reach the cover.

Marigolds

Marigolds are sprouting.

With/Without

The ones on the top were planted in the same flat with tomatoes, which germinate much faster, which means the cover came off before the peppers showed themselves. The ones on the bottom were planted in a flat of all peppers, which kept the cover on til they were above the ground. Big difference in growth rates, even though they were planted at the same time.

Temps

I reset my thermometer this morning so the min/max would be with doors on. It got up to 101 degrees in there today! Disregard the time - I didn't bother to set it, and "12:00" was around 8am. Fortunately, my seedlings appear to have loved it.

Celery

My first celery crop ever, just sprouted!

Questionable Germination Rates (Update)

Much improved from a few days ago!

Hot Hot Hot

Bhut Jolokia (Ghost) and Trinidad Scorpion (Butch T) ultra hot peppers started sprouting today. Planted on 2/24/12 and kept in the spare room, temps generally in the mid-60s. Apparently they're not nearly as finicky as the paperwork that came with them suggested. So far.
